Transfer chamber

Brief description

For the preparation of especially sensitive samples, an inert gas atmosphere may be necessary, among other considerations. To address this requirement, Spectruma® developed the transfer chamber for such applications. It facilitates placing the sample and sealing the sample chamber within the glovebox. Once mounted on the cathode plate, the chamber is opened via a slide only after evacuating the space between the anode and the transfer chamber. This process ensures minimal or no contact of the sample with air during measurement. The transfer chamber is also suitable for analyzing porous materials.
