Our training offer consists of basic and advanced seminars. Topics of the basic course include:

• Basic concepts GDOES
• Construction and handling of the GDA, sample preparation
• simple (routine) applications
• Method creation, customization
• Sputter rate correction:
  Where is it advisable?
• Error detection in the measurement of unknown samples
• Determination of detection limits
• Basic maintenance on GDA device
• Presentation of new developments / applications

In the advanced seminar topics such as:

• Method creation, customization
• QDP-calibrations
• Sample preparation
• Hydrogen effect:
  How can this be recognized, be minimized?
• Working with the CCD
• Working with the monochromator
• Working with the RF
• Use of the database
• Alternative plasma gases
  (Ar / H₂, Ne)
• Basic maintenance on GDA device
• Presentation of new developments / applications
